Grandparents Night at St.Timothy

Students from St. Timothy Parish School were able to share an evening with their grandparents at McCarthy Hall in the school's annual Grandparents Nights on September 15 and 17. The school had a record turnout this year to celebrate the important role grandparents play in the students' lives, from helping with homework to providing taxi services to after school activities. Hispanic Heritage Awards

On October 24, the Boys Scouts of America South Florida Council hosted their 11th annual Hispanic Heritage Awards Celebration at the Doral Golf Resort & Spa offering an evening of music, food, dancing and dominos. The Council honored three members of the community, Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, former Miami Mayor Maurice Ferre, and Tony Argiz, managing partner for Morrison Brown Argiz & Farra, for their support to scouting.
